Two Minute Reports (Looker Studio)

Two minute reports for Looker (Datastudio) is a decent option to very expensive options like supermetrics. They have a lot of data sources, and are slowly adding more over the past year.

The biggest issues I have with them is they still haven’t improved the loading speeds, so it takes over a minute for the data in datastudio to load. This isn’t great when having clients access the reports directly. They’re finally adding more social platform insights as the main data sources were all ad focused, we just got LinkedIn insights but still nothing for Twitter. Another minor annoyance is the url, all other software has the name or something close to the software name l, but theirs is no correlation gox.

Lastly there’s issues with connecting with multiple emails. I have multiple Google accounts I access and have different datastudio reports under each, if I’m in 1 account in datastudio I can’t log into my main account TMR email if it’s different, but it will auto log me into the account from datastudio and create a new account without any questions. I’m forced to invite all of my Google accounts just to be able to access the data sources.

Overall for the price and number of datasources (though they’re adjusting packages) it does work well, but the fact the roadmap has the speed optimizations still in progress for over a year now with no update is a bit concerning that it isn’t a top priority over new data sources.
