Spyfu has been our go to for spying on Google ads competitors and their ad copy. It does a really good job with showing the keywords and ad copy that showed as well as their competitors.

We’ve also used this extensively for SEO to track overall ranking progress, researching new keywords and various similar questions, and reporting on SEO.

The reports we’ve found very extensive but could be improved to help explain some parts for clients that don’t fully grasp what the chart is presenting. Also the monthly report isn’t based on the actual month and all of ours come in a week into the next month but that data shows in the report and looks like a large drop in performance.

The Google ads builder templates are OK, more based on skag builds so not viable to copy and paste into Google ads, but they can help with initial keyword research.

The backlinks section is pretty standard to other platforms backlinks.

Overall they have lots of areas to expand I just haven’t seen much new features or changes come through in a while. Updating to include more local searches vs just national would be great. Adding ways to pull shopping ads or Microsoft ads would be helpful. More customization on reports data and scheduling.
