Branalyzer

Branalyzer was a tool we saw that intrigued me for use with our SEO services. It’s been expanding quite a bit since we started using it in its early days, I originally picked it up for the heavy backlink focus it presented and the brand analysis was second to help with “spying” on client competitors to see where their backlinks are from, how they’re doing with other metrics vs us etc.

The backlink options are extensive, you can look for expired domains that may have good DA, you can find sites that give free backlinks, find backlinks you can search for other sites and pull basic info or full SEO and include the DA,PA,CF,TF of the domains found for easier filtering. They provide an email icon to show the found emails for each domain, you can compare multiple domains, and analyze each using the same tools. Though clicking on another domain updates the entire dashboard to that new domain and no options to go back to your original domain, making research a bit tricky depending on your process flow.

The social analyzer is looking intriguing right now it just pulls the social pages for the current domain, but they’re going to be adding social competitors which may come in handy.

Some of the data does work well for pulling prospecting info for website management, rebuilds, etc. Checking a domains malicious score, SEO info, backlinks, keywords, socials, etc. Is great and does well with the new Beta chrome extension, though it still needs some work, but will be a great option for pulling quick info from sites.

The brand AI feature seems to just be a bandwagon jump since everyone else is adding it. Its alright, has more SEO focused prompts, so may be beneficial for some basic research.

The biggest issue I have with it right now is the reporting is meh, theres a ton of data and info, but not all of it is included in the report, there’s no customization or ability to add information from the other tabs. They’re adding more branding options, but still has work to be done.

The navigation and all of the buttons take a bit to figure out and understand but i’m sure it’ll be cleaned up. Reviewing our own website data for accuracy (though we may be a bit lower than needed) The main data seems accurate under the brand SEO, but the estimated traffic and number of keywords ranking are quite far off. They did add search ad keyword pulling, similar to spyfu to spy on your competitors search ad targeting in Google.

The overall speed for just loading various tabs is a bit slower than i’d expect with an online software, i’m sure is also on the list for improving.

It still seems to be a work in progress but still very usable, they have a lot of features in their roadmap so it’s more just waiting for them to get around to each thing, as i’m sure a UI/UX update is on the list. Pricing right now is good to test everything during their winter sale, for the agency package full price, I would wait for a few of these main areas to be cleaned up and ironed out before that is worth the cost. Definitely one to grab at the discounted rate, before it goes up.
